Post Care
-
Wash your hands before and after touching your face!
-
Immediately after your procedure and the rest of the day, blot with a damp paper towel every 15 minutes for the first two hours to remove any lymph fluids. Use a clean paper towel and clean hands each time. If you have hair in the procedure area, move it aside to blot the actual skin.
-
Wash your procedure once or twice a day with a light touch using a mild, unscented cleanser such as Neutrogena or Cetaphil. Make sure your cleansing product does not contain any acids (glycolic, lactic or AHA) or exfoliants. Rinse well with lukewarm water. Pat dry with a paper towel or tissue.
-
Moisturize your procedure with the ointment that was provided to you using a clean finger or q-tip. Make sure the skin is completely dry before applying. ALLERGIC REACTION IS EXTREMELY RARE BUT POSSIBLE. IF YOU NOTICE ANY BUMPS, RASH, OR THINK YOU MAY BE HAVING A REACTION, STOP USING OINTMENT IMMEDIATELY. CLEANSE AREA AND CALL STUDIO. Blot away old product before reapplying.
-
Complete instructions will be given to you at the procedure appointment.
-
-
Avoid direct shower water on the treated area after the procedure.
-
Avoid steam, sauna, whirlpool, hot water during your healing process.

-
Avoid using Retin-A on or around the area for 30 days after.

No swimming until the area is completely healed. Salt water/chlorine can cause the pigments to fade or change in color.
-
No exercise or heavy sweating for 5-7 days. Waiting 10 is best. No sweat into or out of the pores!
-
Stay out of the sun! Wear sunglasses and a hat to protect your procedure. No tanning beds, they will fade your pigment. No spray tan until healed.
-
No pet grooming, gardening, dusting or anything that causes dust, dirt or dander for a minimum of 72 hours. Waiting 5 full days is best.
-
No botox for 2-4 weeks. No facials for 2 weeks.

Makeup around the area is okay. Not on the area for 2 weeks.
-
Skin may be swollen and red under pigment. Some areas of blank pigment may occur and will be adjusted at the Perfection Visit.

For eyeliner procedures, do not put contacts in for 72 hours. You can put on brand new mascara after 72 hours. No eyelash tinting for 4 weeks. Wait 8 weeks after Perfection Visit for Lash Extensions or Latisse (growth serum).
-
DO NOT TOUCH, RUB, SCRATCH OR PICK AT THE TREATED AREA. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off. Picking can cause scarring.
